FMV (Fair Market Value) Maintenance
For Reporting and inventory Valuation purposes, the system has the capability of maintaining a table which matches Product Classes and attributes with dollar values. Below is an example of audit summary and audit details report with FMV values.
Each Product Class has an FMV Key setting this will determine which attributes within the Class will be used to determine the value of the asset. This is matched up with the results of the data captured at audit to produce a derived value in the audit report.
Example: Product Class Computer the FMV Key combines the Class name (Computer) with two defined attributes - CPU and Speed.
The final key for a P3 733Mhz would look like this "ComputerP3733"
